Animals shed their coats periodically throughout the year. The environment, dryness and inattention to brushing and grooming can worsen this condition. In between professional groomings, we recommend a 15 minute ($15) or a 30 minute ($20) session to help control this problem. It eliminates the dry, dead hair while stimulating new hair growth. At CRYSTAL'S CLIPS, we have found that "NAIL GRINDING" ($8-$10) is a better method in dealing with these pets. This technique is similar to an electric emery board and adds a more finished appearance to nails that are long, thick and brittle. Keeping the nails trimmed back will control most problems of ingrowth, built up dirt and discomfort in walking.
